Self-Introduction

My name is Kartika Rhani. I am 37 years old, married, and a proud mother of three children aged 14, 12, and 5 years old. I am originally from Indonesia and have been working in Singapore since August 2022. I speak English and am able to understand and follow instructions well.

I have nearly 3 years of working experience in Singapore with Chinese families, and I am confident in my ability to manage household duties, childcare, and cooking independently.

Work Experience in Singapore

Employer 1 – (August 2022 – August 2024) – Chinese Family with 3 School-Aged Children

• Family of 5: Sir, Ma’am, and 3 children aged 15, 13, and 11
• Lived in HDB 4-room flat
• Duties included:
• Preparing breakfast and sending children to school
• Full housekeeping: cleaning, washing, ironing, and cooking
• After morning duties, I would go to grandma’s house to help with
after-school care for about 11 children who came for lunch and
stayed until the evening
• After finishing at grandma’s house, I returned to my employer’s home to continue duties
• Finished full 2-year contract

Employer 2 – (October 2024 – July 2025) – Chinese Family with Newborn Baby

• Family of 3: Sir, Ma’am, and 4-month-old baby
• Lived in HDB 4-room flat
• Duties included:
• Newborn care, feeding, and hygiene
• Cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing, and general housekeeping
• I worked here for 9 months
• Reason for leaving: Chinese grandmother is arriving from China
to take care of the baby, and the family is also facing financial
constraints, so they no longer need a helper

• Indonesian food: Soto Ayam, Ayam Geprek, Asam Pedas

• Malay and Western food: Curry chicken, pasta, fried rice, gado-
gado, and more
• Able to work independently, follow routines, and manage time well
